When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 is your arrival day! Your private guide and vehicle will pick you up from your hotel in Dhaka in the morning. You’ll receive a short briefing about the tour highlights and daily itinerary before departing for Bogura. Your exact pickup time and location will be confirmed in your final booking documents.
When and where does the tour end?
Your tour will end on Day 5 with a comfortable drive back to Dhaka. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location within Dhaka city in the evening. We recommend staying an extra night in Dhaka if you’d like to rest before further travel.

Is this tour suitable for children?
This heritage tour is best suited for all ages. However, this tour involves a lot of walking at many historical sites. If you want to take small children on a trolley, you should be aware that some of the walking paths are broken, bumpy, and uneven.

2) No chaos should be created during the trip, any problem should be resolved by discussing it ourselves. All-out support from everyone is required to conduct the trip smoothly.

Paharpur Buddhist Vihara (km)
Paharpur Buddhist Monastery or Sompur Monastery or Sompur Mahavihar is an ancient Buddhist monastery that is now in ruins. The second king of the Pala dynasty, Sri Dharmapala Dev (781-821), was building this monastery in the late 8th century or in the 9th century. Sir Alexander Cunningham discovered this huge structure in 1879 AD.
Paharpur can be called the largest Buddhist monastery in the world. It can be compared to the Nalanda Mahavihar in India in terms of size. It was a very famous religious teaching center for Buddhists for 300 years. Buddhists from not only different parts of the subcontinent, but also from countries such as China, Tibet, Myanmar (then Brahma), Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. used to come here to gain religious knowledge. Atish Dipankar Srigyan was the Acharya of the monastery in the 10th century AD.
In 1985, UNESCO recognized it as a World Heritage Site.
The Sompur Mahavihara was located between Pundravardhana's capital Pundranagar (present-day Mahasthan) and another city Kotivarsha (present-day Bangar). Its ruins are located in Paharpur village of Badalgachi upazila of Naogaon district, part of the greater Rajshahi region of present-day Bangladesh.
Mahasthangarh (km)
Mahasthangarh is one of the oldest monuments in Bangladesh. This famous city was also known as Pundravardhan or Pundranagar in history. Mahasthangarh was once the capital of Bengal. Archaeological evidence has been found that a civilized settlement was established here even before the birth of Jesus Christ, that is, about 2500 years ago. In 2016, it was declared the cultural capital of SAARC.
This walled city contains archaeological remains from various periods. For several centuries, this place was the provincial capital of the mighty Maurya, Gupta, Pala and Sena rulers and later the capital of Hindu feudal kings. From the third century BC to the fifteenth century AD, numerous Hindu kings and kings of other religions ruled. Mahasthangarh is located in Shibganj upazila of Bogra district. About 13 km. north of Bogra city, on the west bank of the Karatoya River, the ruins of this city can be seen.
#Behula's Basar Ghar: Gokul Medh is an archaeological site excavated in Gokul village under Bogra Sadar Thana. It is better known locally as Behula's Basar Ghar. Many people call it Laxminder's Medh. It is one of the archaeological sites listed by the Bangladesh Archaeological Survey.
It is located in the village of Gokul, about 2 km southwest of Mahasthangarh Bus Stand, and at the junction of Gokul, Ramshahar and Palashbari villages
